Personalized therapy that respects the whole person.
At InnerWisdom, therapy isn’t a checkbox. It’s a conversation—one rooted in trust, empathy, and real progress. We offer individual therapy to adults navigating a wide range of mental health challenges, whether you’re seeking support for the first time or continuing your care after a higher level of treatment like PHP or IOP.
Our licensed therapists bring compassion, structure, and clinical expertise to every session. We focus on what’s right in front of you: the thoughts, behaviors, and patterns that are holding you back—and the tools and insight to move forward.
Therapy at InnerWisdom can help you…
Is an Individual Therapy right for you?
If you’re seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma, or serious mental illness—and want to understand your mind, build new habits, and improve how you feel each day—individual therapy at InnerWisdom may be right for you.
Our licensed therapists offer one-on-one support grounded in clinical insight and genuine care. Whether you’re navigating a new challenge or continuing your recovery, therapy can help you make sense of what you’re feeling and create real, sustainable change.
Many clients come to us after completing a higher level of care such as PHP or IOP. Individual therapy offers a structured next step, helping you maintain your progress, strengthen your support system, and stay grounded as you transition back into daily life.

Clinical Services at InnerWisdom
Individual Therapy
One-on-one therapy sessions create space to explore what’s going on beneath the surface. Whether you’re managing symptoms of anxiety or depression, recovering from trauma, or navigating daily stressors, therapy helps you gain insight and build skills. Our licensed clinicians use evidence-based methods like CBT and solution-focused therapy to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.
Family, Couples, and Group Therapy
Healing doesn’t happen in isolation. We offer therapy that brings families and partners into the process, helping improve communication, resolve conflict, and support recovery together. Group therapy connects clients with others facing similar challenges and offers a safe space to build social skills, process emotions, and reduce isolation.
Medication Management
For clients who may benefit from medication, our psychiatric team provides thoughtful evaluation and ongoing support. We collaborate closely with therapists, families, and the client to monitor symptoms, adjust treatment when needed, and make sure each person is receiving care that supports both their mind and body.
Our Approach To Therapy
At InnerWisdom, we go beyond symptom management and focus on building long-term stability and real-world progress.
Holistic
Mental health isn’t just about therapy. We help many patients navigate real-life challenges like housing, transportation, and food security so they can fully focus on recovery.
Structured, yet flexible
Any of our patients come from unstable or unstructured backgrounds, and structure is key to healing. At the same time, we recognize that everyone’s journey is different, and we adapt care to meet each patient’s unique needs.
Measurable
Our WellPrint® Progress Tracker ensures that treatment isn’t just about talking—it’s about setting clear, measurable goals across mental, physical, emotional, and social health.
Professional
We are not a corporate facility where patients are just numbers. Our small, expert team takes the time to truly understand and support each individual.

You may be wondering...
How do I know if individual therapy is right for me?
If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, isolated, or unsure of what’s next—therapy can help. You don’t need a specific diagnosis to benefit from talking with a trained therapist. We’ll meet you where you are and work with you to set goals and take steady steps forward.
What can I talk about in therapy?
Anything. Some people come to process trauma or manage a mental health diagnosis. Others are navigating grief, work stress, identity questions, or relationship issues. Therapy is your space—there’s no wrong reason to show up.
Do I need to have completed PHP or IOP to start individual therapy?
No. We welcome new clients from the community, regardless of past treatment. That said, many clients do step down from higher levels of care to maintain momentum, and we can help you make a smooth transition.
How often will I meet with my therapist?
Most clients start with weekly sessions, though frequency may change depending on your needs and progress. Your therapist will work with you to create a schedule that fits your life and supports your goals.
Can I continue seeing my InnerWisdom therapist long-term?
Yes. We support continuity of care and long-term growth. As long as therapy remains beneficial and appropriate for your goals, you can continue working with your therapist.
Will my therapy include medication?
Not necessarily. Some clients benefit from medication, but it’s never required. If you’re interested in exploring it, we can connect you with our psychiatric team for a conversation.
Do you take insurance?
Yes, we work with most major insurance plans. Contact us to verify your benefits—we’re happy to help you understand what’s covered.
